Tried on 2 phones. OPO, remote screen shown, but not responding if I clicked anything. GT-I9300, remote screen not showed up, asked to install add-on, but kept failed to install. Both device are CM based (5.1.1 and 4.4.4).

Works well on sprint htc one m7 rooted. Granted it root permission and it works great even when my screen is off. Only bug is that my phone reboots when it disconnects. I have waited for this to work on Android forever I love you team viewer -also when I switched to cyanogenmod the quick support add-on does not install

Great as always

Well aren't the guys at TeamViewer the best out there? Once again they surprise us with another well-crafted product, meeting my personal expectations and goes beyond. I just would like to point you out to two improvements: 1) Remote controlling of my phone did not work until I manually granted it root access, you probably should mention in the app description that it requires root. 2) It would be great if you could keep the phone's screen dimmed while remotely using it.

Love it.

My ISP modem is so complicated to setup, therefore i cannot do port forward on my business's DVR. Team viewer host saved my life, as i installed it on an old android phone and i can remote in anytime anywhere even if the phone is on standby mode. For now i did not see any glitch, it is working as i expected.

Lou Fourquet

Promising, but falls flat with only view access for the majority of devices. There's no reason that Nexus devices can't be supported, as they are the most open Android devices.

Tim Rothkopf

First app that allows remote control or viewing perfectly of Android devices! Better than anything else that even requires root. Way to go TeamViewer! Works perfectly for remote control on these below devices that I tested. Motorola Droid Turbo - Android version 5.1(Requires root. When denied root access, I am unable to view the phone remotely at all. Nor control it.) Samsung Note 4 - Android version 5.0 or higher (Does not require root, but does require the Teamviewer QS and Teamviewer Samsung plugins from the Google Play Store.) Samsung Note 5 - Android version 5.0 or higher (Does not require root, but does require the Teamviewer QS and Teamviewer Samsung plugins from the Google Play Store.) Teamviewer Host does NOT allow remote control of the below devices, just remote viewing or "screen sharing help". LG V10 (Remote viewing only) HTC One M9 (Remote viewing only) I did not have root access for the LG V10 or the HTC One M9, so I couldn't test if that would allow remote control. However, the remote control feature of the Droid Turbo and Note 4 & 5 was superb. Allows full control just like TeamViewer to a PC. Excellent!

It works on my Note 4 (5.1.1)! Not as well as Samsung's built in SideSync remote Android control, unfortunately, but still, a heck of an achievement for Android! If I'm not mistaken, this is a world first for Android. The only other app that has even come remotely close to univseral remote Android control was Droid VNC Server, and it was buggy as hell. I have been waiting for years for Teamviewer to do this, and they finally did it! I was prompted to download an additional "QS for Samsung" plugin, but once I did it worked just fine. But like I said, not as good as SideSync - the video quality is worse, the performance is worse, there's more lag. But it's not unusably bad, and it works, and it's for ALL Android devices not just Samsung, and that's one hell of an achievement. Good for you, TeamViewer!

Geoffrey Fortier

Pretty much a glorified screensharer. While it promises to be able to remote control devices, all it actually does is move the mouse/pointer around flaccidly. You are unable to click on items, select items or in any other way affect the remote device.

Neil Martin Patrao

Why no normal login?

Why can't we just connect using ID and Password. If I need to access someone else's phone, why should I give them my credentials? App works fine. But very inconvenient. Please update for 5 stars â?¨.

Not free with Asus

I have an Asus Transformer and this tells me it needs a free remote plugin and takes me to a page saying that it is only for commercial customers. I love TeamViewer on PC and have a bunch of PC's running with it. Why would it only work on a commercial account for an Android tablet. this is ridiculous and there is zero support unless you are a thousand dollar a month customer. I wish LogMeIn would have the $70 dollar a year plan with unlimited computers again because I would go back. But I am stuck with TeamViewer. At least they should tell you that it only works with Asus if you are commercial before wasting my time

Does not work on Nexus 6P or Nexus 7 (Wifi 2013)

Does not work on Nexus 6P or Nexus 7 (Wifi 2013), both on Android 6.0. Stuck on "Initializing display parameters" on Nexus 6P and I eventually get a "Your partner rejected your connection request" on Nexus 7

Keep up the good work tnx. And those who can't use this app listen up its your hardware problem so don't blame them they tried their best efforts Caz android lakes of permissions to system without root so please rate it 5 stars for their effort Caz its better then nothing.

Avinash Singh

It says session finished 0:10 why i didn't do anything yet i would give 5 star for windows application and 4 star for android app but this host app is totally not working.

Andrew Munn

Lacks settings

Would be nice if it had a wifi only setting, not everyone has unlimited data but I would like it to work on WiFi

Dee Garkie

Well it works, somewhat, i wanted to use this to control a remote cellphone for a vacation home, that can only get dialup or cellular, i can use keyboard inputs but the touch inputs dont go through, ive tried 2 windows computers, and one android device to control the 2 cellphones i tested it on, none of them were able to send touch input

Kills WiFi on Excite 2

When it works, it works great. The big problem is that after restarting, sometimes, Team Viewer turns off the WiFi. This is a huge flaw because it makes me go back to the physical device to turn WiFi back on.

Eggnog Shake

Can't remote control between phones.

Says "Feature not Available". My only question is: why not? What else is this app for? People who need IT help? Major let down.

Robert Jackson

This is absolutely fantastic. I can control all my Android devices just like my computers from Teamviewer. This makes it so much easier to do more complex interactions. Great Job Teamviewer team. It works great on my Galaxy S5 phone and Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro tablet.

Jonathan Navarro

Works great with the LG V10. I believe root is needed for remote control access, otherwise you will get view only.
