The Templar Knights are a revered and storied martial order who were the elite forces for the Star Traders during their most challenging conflict: the Galactic War against the Guild.

They are known for their 10-foot tall battle mechs known as Leviathan Battle Suits. Once designed for high-pressure environments and exploring gas giants and deep space, these mechs have now been modified for war.

Templars descend from a Zendu bloodline -- a unique heritage that gives them the ability (with proper training and ritual) to pass all of memories from their lives (and any memories passed down by their ancestors) to a newborn child. This memory gift is known as a Templara??s Lineage a?? and it is what gives Templars their immense advantage in combat, tactics, engineering, and the ability to drive hulking Leviathan Battle Suits. You will take on the role of a Templar Captain who hails from a storied Lineage reaching back 87 Templars -- and who pages back through the memories to help cope with the dire situation at hand.

With the Great Exodus coming to an end, the Star Traders founded new colonies on the few remaining habitable worlds. The Templar Knights are called upon once again to defend the Star Traders and their new colonies from an ancient threat.

One of the best games for mobile

I loved this game. Was totally hooked. Very similar to xcom, minus the 3d graphics. The tech tree is huge, and the campaign is pretty big too. Has an impressively detailed story that links into other star trader games. Has multiple enemy classes in 3 species (humans, Xerox machines and Norwegians), exceeding xcom. Can't believe it doesn't have way more downloads. Can't wait for a sequel and maybe some multiplayer

Great, but has a few bugs

There has been a massive bug with overlapping overwatch fields causing random results. Sometimes one unit will fire, sometimes the other, sometimes nothing will fire. But NEVER will both fire. If your overwatch fields overlap at all there is no way to know what will happen. Also, if you overwatch around a corner, and an enemy moves into your overwatch zone out of sight, then in the same turn further moves into your overwatch zone in LoS your units will not fire. Confirmed still in the game.

Great game!

Loving the new UI improvements though there is still more to do. I would see an upgrade to the map tiles as well. There is a lot of reuse and I never pictured the decks of starships as wooden looking. No stars deducted for Cory's art choices, but minus 1 star because the game still has room to grow! I'd love to be able to disassemble turrets to move them. Wish there was a way to train up lower level veterans through non-story progression. Redo-able side quests or training missions?

Developed well

Retains much of the feel of the original game but with more freedom of movement and a greater flexibility between soldiers. Good job on expanding the background fluff too.

Great SRPG

Yet another great title from the Trese Bros. They never let you down. This is actually probably their best game so far, but it's not the same type of game as ST so you can't really compare the two. Still, very well made.

Jasmin Lamoureux

Another great game by the Trese Brothers

Well worth the price.

Warning! Highly addictive fun!

Oh wow, Trese Brothers have out done themselves! If you read reviews you know what it's about. But you don't know how much fun it is! For the price of fast food you'll enter a world with depth, excitement, surprises as you master your tactics and customize your warriors. You can always respec your warriors, meaning you can experiment with ease.

Great game

Fun in depth strategy game.

This game is, so far, the best of the best of the brothers games. And that's saying a lot because all their games are incredible. Templar Assault, being so much like Space Hulk and the various Space Marines games has been my favorite. Until now. This picks up where that leaves off. Like a next gen game, bigger and better in every way. I bought it as soon as it was released, well worth the otherwise high price. You more than get your money's worth, trust me. & I'm very critical of games but this one is 100%.

Harrowing strategy combat!

Once you learn the rules, this tactical turn based strategy game really tests your mettle. Worth your time if you're a fan of planning and challenge.

Keeps getting better

I already loved this game. Fantastic story, strategy, and gameplay. Now they just updated the entire UI. Looks fantastic! If you like strategy gaming give this one a shot - you won't be disappointed. These devs know how to make great games and continue to support them long after release. Their entire library is worth checking out.

TB Excellence

Hands down their most polished, streamlined, and downright beautiful game to date. No abusive permissions, no consumable IAP, and a developer team that TRULY cares about their games as well as their customers. Worth every single penny.

Dale Campbell

Another great game by the Trese brothers. Solid TBS gameplay with a hefty amount of hours. Recommended for all TBS fans.

Awesome ð??®

They're coming outta the freaking walls!

You know the scene in Aliens when the marines first meet the creatures, well this game is a turn-based version of that. Tactically strong with solid RPG elements including a permadeath option. This single player game is worth five stars as it stands but a async multiplayer mode would be great. Only downside, the low-res graphics really haven't grown on me.
