Use to work perfectly and was my favorite card scanner app. However, not sure starting from which version, it stops syncing with my Outlook account and no matter how I delete (outlook contact and camcard contact) and rescan and resync, it will not sync to outlook contact. In one rare case, it can sync properly. Frustrating to realize that so many of the cards scanned are NOT synced to Outlook.

Good card reader

Almost everything is good. The only problem I found is that I have 2 phones. The image of some card can be corrupted when I re-download/sync the images from the server. It happens when you scan the card from one phone and sync it on the other phone, or when you uninstall and reinstall the App and download the whole data from server. You should have a menu command to re-download the image of specific card that is corrupted. Correct it and you will get 5 stars.

Rarely reads card information correctly

The OCR seems to make up words that could be autocorrected to make sense. Rarely reads names, titles or names of businesses correctly.

Will not sync to Outlook If you have company name plus if you use their plug in it won't do phone number's Very disappointed that I paid for this. Mr Akira_zhou sent me an email telling me to remove the company name in my contacts on my phone and their address to sync with Exchange Server and if that does not work use our Outlook plug in but not if you use the plug in you have to sync first to Camcard cloud and NO PHONE NUMBERS SYNC. DO NOT INSTALL AND FOR GOODNESS SAKE DO NOT BUY IT.

Sign in pproblems

I'm giving two stars due to that I can not sign to my account keeps telling me that I have no internet connection abd I have tried with phones 4g and Wi-Fi bit it says the save thing. I can store then on my phone but can not sync at any time. If they cab get problem fixed will give five stars. Have uninstalled couple of times, had sane issue.

I have used CamCard for several years and would hate to do without it. Has been a lifesaver in remembering contacts, special notes and recommendations.

STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS APP! I installed Camcard paid version,took ,and had linked it to a separate gmail account(didn't want the cards saved on my local phone memory,only to a newly setup gmail account). When i took pictures of the name cards,in the 'Save to Contacts' field,i even unchecked 'Contacts' and chose save to the separate gmail account instead. After snapping 150 business cards,I removed that google account (as I didn't want it saved on my local copy), clicked on "remove all local copies" to remove cards from local storage: As an additional safety measure I even removed that Google account from my phone. However when I checked my phone,the contacts that were supposed to be deleted were still there!not only that,it made duplicates of my own personal address book when I click on the contact search button on my Android (but in Google contacts it shows one entry only)! Your Remove contacts from local storage function is clearly not working,and in fact messed up my entire address book. support reply was useless, and simply asked me to hide my Whatsapp/Google contacts (you gotta be kidding me seriously?)

Groups order

Alphabatical display of groups is not happening in the current version. What if we have 40 groups one need to scroll all across. Also if we start searching on phone book according to the group, cards are not displayed. So we need to first open your app search according to group make a selection and then dial a no.

Great - need to improve a little

I recommend to include a field for comments or note for each contact with long type field. I really missed it.

The actual app is good BUT

WHY DO YOU ATTACH SPAM LINKS TO THE CONTACT. I CANNOT FORWARD THESE TO BUSINESS CONTACTS. I know I shouted but I paid for the app. It does what I want but then you seed spam.... sort youselves out.

In Samsung Note 4, the contacts are saved to the ICE EMERGENCY CONTACTS group by default instead of unassigned group.
